Maxie Solters brings an artistic, creative perspective as well as extensive experience in event planning to her position at Scoop Marketing. She continues to work closely with V-Day International, organizing events and raising funds and awareness to stop violence against women, and bringing The Vagina Monologues to Studio City. Maxie’s notable successes include the 2009 V-Day event, which included host Rosario Dawson as well as a performance of The Vagina Monologues and a talk with author Eve Ensler and Dr. Denis Mukwege of the Democratic Republic of Congo. As part of V-Day’s Five City Tour, Turning Pain Into Power, it was attended by more than 1,000 people from all over the world. In 2013, she helped plan a V-Day and Zumba Fitness event for One Billion Rising at LA Live in Downtown Los Angeles, featuring special guests Eric Garcetti, Jane Fonda and Dylan McDermott. Maxie also assists in coordinating the silent auction to benefit the Open Fist Theatre Company gala each year.
Graduating from USC with a BA in theatre, Maxie continues her acting career while she dives into the world of PR. She is also a dedicated music fan who hasn’t missed a Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival since first attending in 2004. This passion for music and entertainment, combined with her extensive event planning experience and marketing skills, has been essential to Maxie’s expertise in serving Scoop clients including the Eagles, Leonard Cohen, Bon Jovi, Hangout Music Fest, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Fathom Events, and more.
